The Dorn method is the number one spinal therapy in Europe. A gentle spinal and joint treatment used for re-aligning the spine to its original stature. Concurrently the patient is required to move their body swinging either their leg, arm or moving their head while the Practitioner applies pressure along the spinal vertebrae. The movement ‘distracts’ the muscles so they don’t resist the correction. This aspect of the treatment allows it to be very gentle. Virtually no pain is experienced by the patient during the treatment. This procedure is predominantly used to address back problems, joint problems and headaches caused by a wrongly aligned vertebra or a difference in leg length. Emphasis is placed on correcting subluxations (partial displacement) of the hips. It is strictly a non-manipulative treatment which allows joints and vertebrae to ‘slip’ back to their right and natural position through self-determined movements of the patient. The Practitioner may also incorporate other modalities of massage when applying the Dorn method. Dorn Spinal Therapy is an option for sufferers of • Back pain • Neck pain • Sciatica • Hip problems • Headaches • Jaw problems • Knee problems • Joint pain
